ASSA Training Program
The individual training program consists of one x 60 minute session per week face to face with the ASSA certified, accredited and experienced coach. The session will include a full warmup and cooldown in line with current sports science research-based practices.
The first few sessions will focus on technique with the aim of establishing a sound and concrete foundation upon which to build the athlete.
It is very important that training is consistent in order to progress with the skill progression. If you cannot commit to at least 8 sessions on a weekly basis then we suggest that you wait until your respective sport’s off-season when your schedule may allow the necessary training time and recovery in order to maximise your benefit from the coaching. We want you to excel in your chosen field as much as you do.
ASSA offers the following training programs for you to consider:
1. Solo or small group speed mechanics coaching technical sessions
2. Pure speed squads where speed training is conducted for repeat sprintability, speed reserve and fitness at the 2 major Sydney athletics centres.
3. School speed academies where after-school speed and agility coaching and training is performed.
